Pneumatic Positioners

Pneumatic cylinders suffer from a limitation that these can be stopped at only extreme position of either at the front end or rear end. Many applications such as in thermal power plants, steel plants, cement plants, textile units and other chemical and petrochemical process industries call for stopping of pneumatic cylinders at select intermediate positions for controlling of the degree of opening of dampers on knife gate valves or butterfly valves or other valves and in turn controlling process parameters. Schrader Duncan Limited offers Pneumatic Positioners, Electro Pneumatic Positioners and Smart Positioners.

A sleek guide mechanism is used for position feedback and avoids clumsy linkages. Available in cylinder bore sizes ranging from 50 to 350mm and upto 1000mm stroke length.

Maxflow Pneumatic Rotary Actuators

Valve automation is need of the process industry and Rotary Actuator is key element of valve automation. Schrader Duncan Limited launches ?MaxFlow? range of Pneumatic Rotary Actuators. These actuators are available in spring return Single Acting as well as Double Acting models. Torque output range is from 3 Nm To 4000 Nm for 0? to 90?, operating pressure range from 3 to 8 Bar. These are compact design actuators with standard mounting interface.

Valve Automation System

An important element of the Valve Automation is the Valve which could be Butterfly Valve, Ball Valve or Plug Valve. The Butterfly valve range is from size 25mm to 500mm and Pn rating 2.5/40. Ball valves are of 150 Class to 600 Class, in size 25mm to 200mm. The material of construction & Seal will be as per requirement, depending on the medium. Types of Ball Valves in the range are Typical two way, Screwed End, Socket Weld, Butt-weld etc. Three way ball valves for diverter application can also be offered. Butterfly valve varieties are Wafer type, Eccentric Design, with different seat material options. Based on specific application requirements. The system can be integrated with Positioner of Pneumatic / Electro Pneumatic / Smart type.
